Shakira, Epson ambassador for Latin America

The brand will seek to strengthen its presence in the region and highlight the quality of its technology
Epson announced Shakira as brand ambassador for Latin America. Keith Kratzberg, president and CEO for Epson Americas, called her association with the singer an unusual development for the company.

“Shakira is a legend in music, she is an artist who is characterized by her perseverance and constant reinvention, and we are sure that the campaigns we will launch will have a great impact,” explained Kratzberg.

Shakira being an Epson ambassador in Latin America will help promote the brand’s innovative solutions and technology, strengthen its presence and highlight the quality of its products.

For his part, Fabio Neves, vice president of Sales and Marketing for Latin America, said that the woman from Barranquilla will be an ambassador of Epson’s technological innovations, while jointly they will address creative projects.

An inspiring alliance
Fernando Stinchi, vice president of Marketing in Latin America, mentioned that Epson’s alliance with Shakira will also serve to motivate people to dream big.

“We want this collaboration to be long-term and focused on enriching people’s lives through Epson technology,” he added.

The executive said that the product lines on which this collaboration will focus are video projectors and printing for the home, however, in the near future it will also expand to other product lines.

He added that the first advertising campaigns with the singer’s image will begin in the coming months and will be disseminated on different communication channels, including the artist’s social networks.

The company’s goal is also to conquer new markets and connect with new audiences.

Neves said that Epson and Shakira chose each other for this alliance.

“We are united by values that represent creativity, innovation and commitment to communities. “Shakira is a hard-working, talented woman who does not give up, and also has a lot of energy and reaches all corners of the planet,” he elaborated.
