Per the Daily Mail, Swift gathered her new London-based clique at Argentine restaurant Casa Cruz while enjoying a few nights off the European leg of her Eras Tour. Swift posse regulars Cara Delevingne and Lena Dunham, both of whom live in London, joined the singer, as did Haim sisters Este and Danielle. Additions to the invite list included Kate Moss, Stella McCartney, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Chrissie Hynde, and one hot priest. While Swift’s outings are often girls’ nights, Andrew Scott — who co-starred in the second season of Waller-Bridge’s Fleabag and is a noted member of the Tortured Man Club text group that reportedly served as inspiration for Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department album — seems to have been given a pass for the evening. To strengthen the coordinated aura of the evening, Waller-Bridge, Delevingne, and Swift were all outfitted in McCartney pieces.
While Matty Healy’s mother claimed the 1975 front man has been engaged to model and musician Gabbriette Bechtel for a few weeks, it wasn’t until Tuesday night that his fiancée posted a photo of her black engagement ring to Instagram. Was it a coincidence that Swift, who reportedly wrote several of her TTPD diss tracks about Healy, was photographed with a blockade of London’s most notable names the same evening? To that, I’d say: Is anything Swift does ever really a coincidence?
