Taylor Swift Offers Inside Look at Tour — and Confirms How She Gets Onstage — with ‘I Can Do It with a Broken Heart’ Video

The final night of Taylor Swift’s five-night stint in London for the Eras Tour was full of sweet surprises!

After performing the final song at her Wembley Stadium show on Tuesday, Aug. 20, the pop megastar, 34, unveiled a new music video for “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” from her most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department.

The video — which Swift played for the crowd after leaving the stage — features a behind-the-scenes look at the star rehearsing for the Eras Tour and spending time with her crew and dancers. She later released the video on YouTube for all of her fans to enjoy.

At the start of the video, a stadium can be seen filling up with people before quickly pivoting to backstage footage of the tour. The visual intersperses between Swift rehearsing different parts of “I Can Do It with a Broken Heart” with her dancers and shots of her fans, being transported in a cleaning cart and exiting the stage by jumping from the stage onto an airbag.

Earlier in the evening during her Eras Tour concert, the “Fortnight” artist shocked fans as she invited friend and collaborator Florence Welch to the stage for a performance of their song “Florida!!!” which appears on The Tortured Poets Department. Swift’s friend and producer Jack Antonoff also joined her onstage for a mash-up later on in the evening.

The 14-time Grammy winner’s duet with Welch, 37, was the song’s Eras Tour debut, and the first time Swift had ever performed it live.

Meanwhile, Antonoff, 40, and Swift performed a mash-up of “Death By a Thousand Cuts” from the singer-songwriter’s album Lover, as well as “Getaway Car” from Reputation.

“I think a lot about why I’m lucky enough to get to do a show like the Eras Tour, and it’s because I’ve been fortunate enough to find friendships over the years that have been incredibly collaborative and creative [forces],” Swift told the audience before inviting Antonoff out. “I get to make music with one of my best friends in the world, and he’s here tonight.”

She also told the crowd that the songs they were performing were some of their “favorite ones that we’ve done together.”

Following their duet, Swift performed “So Long, London” for the first time live.

“You know, we have done a lot of shows on here on this tour, so it’s kind of rare to have a song that I’ve never performed live before,” the “Mirrorball” performer said before playing. “And yet here we are.”

Swift’s stint in London marks the first time she returned to the stage since three of her performances were canceled in Vienna following an alleged terror plot targeting her concerts.

After Tuesday’s concert, the “Cruel Summer” singer will take a short break before resuming the Eras Tour in Miami on Oct. 18.
