Let the Met Gala commence. Some of the biggest stars in Hollywood have begun to make their way onto the red carpet, and Emily Ratajkowski is one of the special guests on the list. The model and author chose a see-through, vintage Atelier Versace dress with Chopard jewels. Her hair was styled in a funky, braided bun, and she kept her makeup neutral.
The dress code for this year is “The Garden of Time” and is loosely inspired by the 1962 book of the same title by J.G. Ballard. Vintage and floral styles were expected choices for everyone’s ensembles, and so far that has been the case.
At last year’s Met Gala, where the dress code was “Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty,” Ratajkowski wore a sheer nude gown with a drop waist by Tory Burch. The dress was inspired by 1920s silhouettes; she paired her look with a feather clutch.
