The event, also known as the Video Music Awards (VMAs), took place in New York, US, and saw the Eras Tour star win video of the year for Fortnight – with the track crowned ‘Song of Summer’ and gaining best collaboration for her work with Post Malone.
Speaking after collecting her shiny astronaut-shaped VMA, Swift said: “This video seems very sad when you watch it, but it actually was the most fun video to make.”
Taylor Swift secured her spot at the top by receiving the best pop and best artist VMA, as well as technical awards in best direction and best editing.
