Abuttery yellow can often evoke images of bright little flowers sprouting up in your yard or a creamy pastry purchased on a warm midday walk, so it’s no wonder the tint has become the colour of spring.

Out and about in New York City on Monday, the model was seen touting the trending tone with her lightweight faux-leather jacket, which came in a soft yellow and featured a zipper enclosure and two chest pockets.

However, Ratajkowski left the outerwear hanging open to reveal a black long-sleeved crop top underneath, which she paired with tawny slacks that hugged her legs and pooled around her black mules. She also accessorised with a pair of black oval sunglasses, golden square earrings, and a black leather shoulder bag by Loewe.
