Over the weekend, the My Body author was spotted walking her dog Colombo in New York City’s West Village neighborhood while wearing a style staple that once belonged in every ’90s dad ‘s closet: jean shorts, or jorts as they’re often referred to. EmRata’s version came in a light wash with a raw hem and a baggy silhouette, and were worn low on her hips.
She paired her divisive denim with a cropped black tank top that showed off her matching black bra straps underneath, while shield sunglasses and oversized gold hoops made her outfit look less like your dad, more like a supermodel—as did a pair of quirky ballet flats.
