Kylie Jenner is adding perfumer to her long list of business ventures. The reality TV star and Kylie Cosmetics founder announced her debut fragrance, COSMIC, will be exclusively sold on the Kylie Cosmetics website starting March 7.
Jenner announced the new fragrance on Instagram and described the scent as a “sweet, warm floral, elevated scent that is perfect for day and night.” The top notes have jasmine and blood orange; the “heart” has golden amber accord and red peony accord; and the base notes have vanilla musk accord and cedarwood.
Jenner also posted an ethereal video as part of the promo for COSMIC — which shows Jenner with flowers in her hair and swooping camera angles that give her an angelic aura.
“From another world. our sculptural bottle was formed to fit perfectly in the palm of your hand,” Jenner wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of the perfume. Jenner hasn’t dipped her toes into the perfume world until now, though she did collaborate with big sister Kim Kardashian on a KKW x KYLIE perfume in 2019.
While the official announcement for COSMIC came on March 2, Jenner covertly teased the fragrance last week in a series of Instagram photos. The last slide of her “long weekend” photo dump contained what appeared to be a mock-up of the fragrance’s bottle shape. Right next to the design photo was a pad of paper with “March 7” written on it — the release date. Jenner appeared to be holding a tester of perfume in her hand. The same Instagram series also contained pictures of Jenner wearing her clothing line, Khy, which she launched at the end of 2023 — adding designer to her entrepreneur roster.
Kylie Jenner’s makeup and beauty brand, Kylie Cosmetics, is a multibillion-dollar venture that helped earn the youngest Kardashian-Jenner to reach billionaire status. She first launched the company in 2015 with her signature lip kits, which contained a lip liner and liquid lipstick. Jenner has since expanded the brand to other makeup, skincare, makeup brushes, and baby products.
