Golf influencer Paige Spiranac has carved out a unique lane for herself online, demonstrating her skills on the fairway and educating golf newbies on some of the basics. The Sports Illustrated Swimsuit model is so popular that apparently people are trying to impersonate her and stealing people’s money.

On Aug. 6, Spiranac took to her Instagram Stories to warn her followers about any potential scams involving her image. When a fan asked if she was involved in these scams, she quickly shut it down and cautioned them to exercise their judgment if they see someone that looks like her asking for money.

“I’m going to make this very, very clear: I only have my verified accounts and my Passes account. Anyone claiming to be me or claiming to be an associate of mine is fake,” she stated plainly.

“I will not ask you for money. Please do not give anyone money who is claiming to be me,” she continued. “I do not have a Google Hangouts account, a WhatsApp account, or a Telegram account. Please, please, please protect yourself and do not fall for these scams. I am only on my verified social media accounts—you can tell by the millions of followers next to the name [and] I’m not creating alternate accounts—and my personal Passes account. That is it.”
