The former couple owns a luxurious mansion that is located in the Ciutat Diagonal urbanization of Esplugues de Llobregat, in an exclusive area of ​​Barcelona, ​​where they lived from 2012 to 2023. Both lived in this place until the last day of their love relationship, making the decision to sell it once they separated.

The information that came to light mentioned that this space is almost three mansions on the same land, being valued at a high sum of money. Its price would be around 14 million euros, one of the highest in this part of the Catalan city.

Although the singer and the businessman had agreed, through their lawyers, that they would sell it in 2023 for the stipulated price, Piqué would have wanted to reduce the value by half, but Shakira did not accept the proposal and remained at the initial level.

For this reason, the Spanish press began to speculate that, supposedly, the Barranquilla native was looking to annoy her ex-partner, clinging to this property that they kept from what was their union. Journalists and collaborators commented on the matter, going so far as to say that the Colombian would not sell the place in any way.

“She wants to keep the 14 million. Shakira wants to annoy Piqué and not sell the house,” they said in Espejo Público, from Spain.

Espejo Público assured that Shakira was very strict with the things in the property, since she supposedly made her employees throw away the cushions and sheets that Clara Chía touched.
