Shakira remains delighted with the delivery of the IED Nuevo Bosque works. The event, which took place from 11 in the morning on Saturday, continues to give the Barranquilla woman something to talk about after she remembered it this Monday through a publication on her social networks.
Sharing a series of photographs in which she shares with some of the next beneficiaries of the educational institution, the singer-songwriter commented that she was happy to have been able to be at the event.
“I am happy to have been able to open another school in Barranquilla, Colegio Nuevo Bosque will serve more than a thousand children, thanks as always to our allies who made this possible!” wrote Shak.

It should be noted that the works include the installation of 22 regular classrooms, four preschool classrooms, two laboratories, an art room, a technology room and a multipurpose room, as well as a kitchen and dining room, administrative area, three fields and batteries of bathrooms in an area of 6,073 square meters.
The project, which began in August 2019, has been developed through three phases with a total investment of more than $16.1 billion, of which the Pies Descalzos Foundation contributed $5.7 billion and the Barranquilla Mayor’s Office contributed $10.5 billion.
